Maria Jazzy

One of the best shows I ever attended was a Sun Ra concert. In fact, it was my first jazz concert ever, back in the late 1970's. The music moved me and the performance moved me. After all, music should make you feel something, whether the music is good or bad. Just like art, music should affect your being. My music education is life experience and always trying to play with those better than me. I play many "jazz" songs but try to do them in my own manner. Likewise, I'm not constrained by title to exclude music from many genres in my repertoire. Music is life. Post-covid, I find myself writing more than singing.
