Birth Songs BirthSongs is an easy and comfortable technique that a woman can use before, during, and after birthing her baby to self-comfort and center herself and her baby. In a BirthSongs group class you will spend time in a warm, fun, accepting, and loving environment, learning to sing during pregnancy and through birthing. We can get comfortable making sounds with our voices, singing to our unborn child and learning about soothing our newborns with songs, as well as talking about the experience of being pregnant and being a mother. Private BirthSongs sessions are also available. I am a mother of four children and a professional singer. Having given birth four times has allowed me the opportunity to experience many different pain- relieving and centering techniques. By the time I gave birth to my youngest daughter, I had come to realize that singing during the birthing process was an extremely effective method for relieving pain and calming myself.
