About the Album

'Snow Blind' is an alternative Christmas song. Composed and written by myself, it has a Joni Mitchell- kind-of jazz folk vibe. The song started with the title. I find the concept of Snow blindness really compelling as it suggests a strong sense of place, a metaphor for an all-consuming love that can temporarily blind you. The song is about yearning. It was written towards the end of lockdown, when a lot of people experienced loneliness, but there were signs of hope. Produced by Claire Martin OBE, recorded at Quiet Money Studios in Hastings and mixed and mastered by Chris Traves UK. Featuring the fantastic Jim Watson on piano.
